Daedo reaffirms its commitment to innovation in the Gen3 system at the Roma Grand Prix 2026

August 28, 2026

At Daedo, we reaffirm our ongoing commitment to innovation and technological development within the Gen3 electronic protection system, as part of our collaboration with the global Taekwondo ecosystem.

Introduction of the new Gen3 technology

During the Rome Grand Prix 2026, our Director Sam Park presented the new Gen3 fist protector technology to World Taekwondo, with its rollout scheduled in the coming months.

In the same context, we also showcased our latest technological advancements aimed at improving the precision, reliability, and performance of electronic body protectors, in line with our continuous innovation strategy.

Live demonstration at Muju

A live demonstration of the system is scheduled during the Muju Grand Prix in September 2026.

This demonstration will provide an opportunity to showcase the latest developments of the Gen3 system in a real competitive environment, assessing its performance under official high-level conditions.

Evaluation and approval process

The Gen3 system update is being carried out under the standard evaluation and approval framework established by World Taekwondo.

As part of this process, manufacturers submit technical proposals for review, and adjustments may be required to fully comply with the established technical specifications.

Our commitment to Taekwondo innovation

At Daedo, we remain committed to developing advanced technological solutions that enhance the precision, performance, and reliability of sports equipment.

We continue to drive the evolution of Taekwondo worldwide through increasingly accurate and efficient electronic systems.
